I'll more than likely just mount it right there in the field.

Sounds good. We can leave either my vehicle or yours here on base.

Either one will work, I will already have my stuff loaded so if you just want to throw yours in my truck if you want.

Need a body count for sure. With GK out of town, accommodations are getting tighter. We will definitely make it work, when I'm hunting hard and knockin back cold ones at night, I require very little for sleep needs. I have a spare bedroom, couch, recliner, and 2 air mattresses. If needed I could park my dads camper and plug it in. Will try to make travel the easiest for those who have long drives. Skyler has offered to bribg some goose dekes, that should give us more than enough for any situation. Layout blinds would be helpful, a few of us have multiple blinds.

This thing has gotten bigger than expected, definitely becoming more of an event than a hardcore hunt. Might not have enough birds for the size of group we'll have, but if we are safe and no one gets hurt, I guarantee we will have fun.

Some thoughts here-

GKR has offered to let me use his enclosed trailer and his deeks (this is a big deal!) Additionally, Joe owns 2-3 layout blinds.
I believe he would be ok with a few folks staying at his house, I wont speak for him but he told me something to that effect.

AS I see it, Assateague will stay with me and QH Paw and his son (maybe) will stay with me. QH and his son may or may not do a little tent camping in my barnyard. The old dogs will be out of the way of the young'uns when night time shenanagans begin....

QH Paw and I also thought it might be good to break into 2 groups. Jarbo, I can always take a couple out in my boat or some river/lake hunts on public ground. "I know some places". My cousin expressed a burning desire to get his first pintail and I know another fella that wants one. LOL

We can all get together after we are done hunting to compare stories, drink, etc.

GKR and I have been smiling for months to see how you were going to pull this off Jarbo. You got a big set, inviting the internet out for a duck hunt...

Id be surprised if 10 people actually made it.

This is besides the point...but anyone is more than welcome to come to NY and hunt with me.

Whoever appeals to the law against his fellow man is either a fool or a coward. Whoever cannot take care of himself without that law is both. For a wounded man shall say to his assailant, "If I live, I will kill you. If I die, you are forgiven." Such is the rule of honor.

Red is:

1) Bored. Or, just in a shit starting mood, which still counts as bored.
2) Jealous he cant make it. Wishes he was cutting up with the boys in Kansas.
3) Not going to STFU today, no matter what I write.
4) Probably not going to start any new sculling threads, even though I have requested them.

Love ya brother-
Come and go duck hunting with us, you are welcome to come and its not too late.

DAMN! I missed it. I know you really get into sculling, no one around here does it. I never have seen it done. No experience whatsoever.
