$10 Walmart frame for my RNT poster autographed by Jim Ronquest. I'm kind of a big deal...

Damn it. If he didn't sign it in front of me, I'd really be questioning that signature

How many deer can you kill? Or are you talking buying the occasional pig and side of beef?

we want to kill more deer, with die permits and what not we can kill a lot, but want to do beef and pork as well. Not so much to save money but to have a better product without paying any more if that makes sense, getting tired of grissle sausage and greasy burgers

Every time we go to the auction, I want to buy a calf, feed it for a couple weeks, and kill it. It'd be worth every penny. They go for $15-$20. Hell, I should buy three.

I don't really have a place to put them for those weeks. Trying to talk the neighbor into letting me use his old dog kennel, but with a couple calves, there's not really enough to share, so I might feel bad using his backyard for my abattoir.

Tie one to a tree, sit on the deck, light up some indian tobacco, and think delicious thoughts...

That's what's up! I process one of my a cow and a pig or 2 every year myself. It isn't so much cheaper, but the quality is way better and you get to try different recipes and things. Use some bacon ends and pieces in your sausage and burger, it's awesome.

Kick ass! How does it feel to have a 13 year old son with a nicer gun than you? At least he worked his ass off for it.
