None of the issues scared me at all. Drove like a old diesel does, happy with the trade.

You won't see a truck like that around here, it's hard to find one from the 90s thats not rusted and beat to shit. Should serve its purpose very well. Let me know if you need vacuum or wiring diagrams.

If you have both send them my way. They would help. I'm going to source out shop manuals soon.

Really? I had you pegged as a haggler.

I will haggle a little bit, get someone to shave 10 or 20 percent off a price of something, but I'm not big on haggling. If I think you have something at a fair price, I'll drive to you and pay cash. What kills me is when these people on cl email you, offering 10 to 50 percent of your asking price. Eff them.

When I go to buy something I knit-pick the hell out of it, then offer half. Got my dirtbike that blue booked for $2900...he was asking $2600 because it was a little rough, but I got it for $1700.

Seriously still haggling with this kid on the sub box. I told him I was gonna be headed north if he wanted to meet me, told him $75. He's dead set in $50, I told him $65 but he said he just bought another jeep and is tight. I'm not in a crunch to sell it, it doesn't owe me anything, might just tell him when he's got the money to get ahold of me. Might put it on eBay too. I started the thing at $125.

I do all my haggling beforehand, in my brain. If I decide I want something, I figure out how much it is, then decide if I still want it. If so, then I pay the price I decided on. If I can't afford it, I don't get it, rather than haggling.

Haggling is nothing more than mental credit card debt. I think of the price I decided on as if it was cash in my pocket. If I don't have enough, then I don't buy it, rather than trying to get it a "little" cheaper, or spending a "little" more.

I look at it different. Most people are asking more than an item is worth, I'm just trying to get it for what I'm willing to pay.

I'll never rip anyone off, I wouldn't feel right doing that but at the same time I always try and get the lowest price I can before hitting the rip off line.

If their dumb enough to get ripped off, then it's not my fault.

When I put an add in, put in the price I want. If you offer me 40 for something I have priced at 50, I simply say no, but I will take 60 for it. I figure if they can try to jew me down, I can damn sure try to jew them up. I usually sell for what I have posted. I don't drop, unless there is a benefit in it for me.

I always list things for what I think i can get, if someone makes an offer and it's reasonable and I like them I take it, a lowball usually ends the deal

Lowballing pisses me off but then again I'm a terrible negotiator. I can't stand when someone is wasting my time so I don't waste other peoples time.

The shipping is more than I thought it would be. Almost as much as the sinkers. I will have to pass. Thanks for your time.

Guy is complaining about some shipping cost on texas rigs to him. Yeah, I'm gonna eat shipping costs to the guy even when I'm selling them for cheaper than Rogers and Cabela's.

I seem to be attracting them today...

From Me:

Of course I'm going to pick thru the books and pick out what I want to keep or sell online. I am offering a good deal to someone that wants to resell books, but I'm not going to just give away money to another "picker". If there is only money in certain books then I'm sure you can find a sucker to try to make your quick money off somewhere else. Have a good life.

From: david

I resale on Amazon has anybody or you pick through all books. Do you know where the books came from. There is only money in certain kind of books

From Me:
I would say there is a mix
of fiction and nonfiction books. Not sure on an exact
count on the books. They are probably from the
1990's to the present. Large variety of books,
paperback and hardback books. It is a 4x4x4 triwall
box that is full of books. Thanks,
Joe.

From: david

Do you have any idea how many books, how old they are, types
or any othe info. I am looking mostly non fiction.
