Breatheables, or just loose? I want some cheap breatheables...

Just loose. I have a size 13 foot, so every pair of waders I've ever owned seems to assume that I'm 6' 10" tall.

I'm not.

I've got the opposite, kind of. 10.5 foot and I think they assume everyone is 120lbs with a 10.5 shoe size. My 3.5s are a borderline wetsuit fit.

That's me with 12's. Oh wait...it's because I'm fat

Thanks for the heads up. It's been a traumatic day already, what with those Vox Mortician prices and all, and then Hammer recommending I buy a zero-turn mower.

They actually don't offer half sizes, but have 5 sizes within each size to match your body size. S, M , L, xl, and xxl

those 3/4 oz loads? That's jr's number on load besides the 6 hevi. Quite a killer. Those Kent's are almost identical to our home rolled

These are 7/8oz at 1500fps in a little low brass hull. Have built a lot of confidence in them over the past few seasons.

Not that that wasn't novelty enough to inspire the photo, but we do catch a few hard freeze days some winters. Bought my first breathables one year when my my marsh pit ruptured late in the year and we hunted out the season standing in sometimes literally freezing water, and they, over jeans and light duofold(?) long handles, were fine for that. But I got chilled in that same combo hunting out of the water on a windy 20 degree day, so I bought a couple pairs of heavy fleece britches that I've not since seen a day cold enough to wear. Have roasted every time I've tried to justify that investment, but I'm ready for the next ice age when it comes.

My buddies tuck their sweats into their socks, I tried it once and ill never do it again. I'll just stick to my usual and wear nothing except boxers. If it gets below 10 I throw on some UA 3.0s but I tend to sweat with them on.

I think I walk-in too much for breathables. Not usually very far, but lots of greenbriers. Then I'm usually sitting on the ground in some makeshift "blind". I just don't think I'd trust breathables.

Breathables are a gazillion times more durable than neoprene.

Breathables are useless after September up here.

I'm guessing you and Jehler don't hunt standing in water... There are a few places my blind is just a tree I'm standing next to.

When the water starts freezing over, I'm not going to those places in breathables.

Neoprene is for dumb fucking rednecks that don't know any better. I rock breathables all year and stay plenty warm. Synthetic layering is good for when it's cold out. And breathables are way more durable than shitty neoprene.

Neoprene works for me. Bought a pair of brown waders from Academy for $35 and have no complaints. But it only got down to 20 degrees last year.
