Let's get this back on track.

Whoever appeals to the law against his fellow man is either a fool or a coward. Whoever cannot take care of himself without that law is both. For a wounded man shall say to his assailant, "If I live, I will kill you. If I die, you are forgiven." Such is the rule of honor.

The Residents have been around since 1969 and if you look at what they have done for the music community you might eat those words. Just because they aren't a cookie cutter band doesn't mean they don't have talent...since they all can play just about any instrument known to man. Not that it truly matters, or that you care, but they have done all of this completely anonymously. Never been a name associated with anything they have ever done.

Here is one of their covers.

12M,
believe it or not, the very first concert I ever attended was Threedog Night at the age of 9 years old, maybe 10. My Mom and Dad wouldn't let my sister go unless she took me along. You talk about instant cockblocker. How many guys are hittin' on a chick with her little brother around.
I could tell more of the story but, it would be better told in person.

Funny you mention Les and Buckethead, which you obviously know little about. They are both a part of the Residents. Better look into your Primus collection one more time and check out the albums Frizzle Fry, Misc Debris, and Rhinoplasty. All contain Residents.

I'm not saying they are talented because I listen to them, but because they are.
