You don't have to be old, you can catch fish if you hold your mouth right.

Fishing last week....4 limits of red fish, 3 oversized and 3 black drum. Also ran into a nice buck in the back lakes.

Wow, that would be a blast on a rod and reel.

I was thinking on a tree and a winch.

Yeah it was probably about an 8 footer, I figure.

I was swinging flies on the Cowlitz a few years ago and snagged some 40lb mono, so I decided to hand-line it all in to get it out of the river. It came up tight and I figured I'd beak it, but noticed that it was moving up stream, slowly but steadily, with out any throb or pulse like a fish, just like it was hooked to a slow moving train. I wrapped the line around a stick and held it until whatever was pulling broke the line. I figured it was a huge sturgeon.

Got this one on the Sacramento River on 20 pound test. It was about a 45 minute fight and my ass was whooped.

We had a blast last spring fishing out of Astoria. Caught something like 50 fish in 4 days of fishing.
