30 bucks for a stock exhaust system for my truck. The duals the previous owner installed have been annoying the hell out of me since I got it. I enjoy 100% factory trucks. They were designed that way for a reason.

Thank you. Loud trucks for no reason are retarded.

i like to be able to tell when i have the truck running. i don't like obnoxiously loud, but a little growl doesn't hurt.

Yeah I wouldn't mind a little growl if I was goin for a performance setup, but those Corsa and borla and magnaflow systems that sound good without being obnoxious are out of my price range.

get a glasspack, 25 bucks brand new. pulled an Assa and got mine at the scrapyard for 2 bucks, nearly new. had mine for over 5 years now.

What does it do for your truck, other than make it sound like something it's not?[/quote]
For my truck it lets the turbo spool up faster with less restriction in the exhaust.

You oughta have that bitch straight piped. Diesels sound awesome with no restrictions. I got my dad a turbo back straight pipe system for his 6.0. Love to hear that turbo whistle sounds like a jet. I'm a sucker for diesels though. Otherwise keep that shit stock!

i think you must be brainwashed, it now sounds like a truck.

it also allows my engine to run much cooler.

i don't like trucks with carpeted floors, heated seats, electric windows, or ultra quiet exhaust. i bought a truck because when i get the fucker filled up with shit and mud, i can take a hose and spray the inside out. i don't want the other shit because it's all shit that breaks. quiet trucks are for soccer moms who drive to Costco.

You and I agree when it comes to trucks.

There isn't a single luxury in that truck, no carpet, no power anything except steering. I'm surprised it came with A/C. I'm starting to drive it more and more as a daily driver. I want to get the paint re-done and over all the interior as soon as I replace the IP and injectors.

Oh and one day I want to throw a 5 speed in there to replace the C6.

i'm going back to a '70's ford when i find a decent one. the dodge is ok as a daily driver, but i want something that i can work on easier. i do love shift on the fly four wheel though.

If I could have any Ford in perfect condition I would want a 68' F100.

My truck is a work truck, period. It looks like it is too. Loud trucks are fucking retarded.
By default, my truck is loud as shit because it's an older diesel, but I would take one of those newer ones any day over it.

The older you get... you start wanting something nice, reliable, and quiet.
For instance, "shift-on-the-fly" 4x4... Swore I'd never get it but within two trucks got one with that. My newer one has that traction control shit. It feels weird but WORKS.
I've heard that it's incredibly stupid to fuck around with a crazy man's head.

I think you over did it with the sammich. You're going to have to buy real tires for it after you get it.

Animals must like the view from on top of a cars hood. My mom was taking care of my dog and thought it would be a good idea to tie him up beside the driveway, he scratched hell out of my brothers hood and destroyed the plastic piece between the windshield and hood. When they came home he was laying on the roof.

He has replaced all 4 hubs twice, the transmission, and rolled it off into a ditch. The last one was just cosmetic.
