Home made grits and bacon bits.

Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen.” ― Samuel Adams

bless your heart... I used to think that was a nice thing southerns would say, but I found out a couple years ago that I was actually hearing someone being called a dumb ass.

Shrimp poboy! Fresh caught shrimp (still translucent when I bought them yesterday), lightly fried, and piled high on slice of heated, New Orleans French Bread (Leidenheimer's  ), with lettuce, a couple of Wickle's pickle slices, mayo and cocktail sauce. A pile of fresh potato chips and an ice cold beer completed the "gorge". Dammit man, love living on the Gulf Coast!!!!
