What? I guess I'm just too lazy to save a buck that way.

Now if you'd said that you did it for a porn marathon I'd understand

What hapened on that mattress this weekend is not suitable for Assa's trapping thread.

She made ya rub her feet, huh?

Just picked up a nice gray off the road on my way to the grocery store. Heads smashed, but hide is perfect.

Sweet! I think people are picking everything up around here. Haven't seen a coon or fox on road for a couple months. Right around when trapping opened up

I've never used them before, but I read an article this summer and figured I'd try it. So far I'm a fan.

It's been good so far, but it's gonna shut off for a few days with all this damn rain coming. I'll take a nice steady pace, though.

Pissed. Just checked traps, and somebody stole 2. And since you're not just gonna "find" traps, it's a safe bet the foxes that were in them were stole, too.

How do I know they were stolen? Since I lost that coyote, I've been putting in new sets using cable stakes. And these two were cut. Motherfuckers. So unless foxes are carrying cable cutters, I've got a thief problem. They were visible from the road, but they were easily 200 yards across a cut beanfield. I hope they get their dick stuck.

I've been thinking. The best way to get him good would be to re-set the area, and upon catching a fox, walk up and piss all over the fox/trap and leave. That fucker will drive by, steal everything again and never know he's got Jim's piss all over his hands, fox and new trap.

I like that plan.

Grand scheme of things, I've been very, VERY luck with this type of deal, anyway. And so far, it's a decent year. Maybe one of the thieved foxes had rabies, and scratched the guy.

Either way, I'm pleased so far. Taking a 3-day break for deers.

Not really worth it. One hide will pay for all the traps I've bought in the last two years. Just a cost of doing business, but that doesn't mean I have to thank them for it.

That really sucks! I can't believe there are that many bad people out there. I've walked by more than 1 marten in a trap and kept walking, why can't everyone else.
Looks like your using wire stretchers, do you think that is hurting you at all? Seems like there is always a hot debate about wood or wire.
