best way to catch crappie is with a flyrod, and i'd be willing to bet a lot of money on that.

I watched a guy tear them up with a fly rod one time. He had a little white marabou jig and nothing else. He would catch 37 in the morning and 37 in the evening every day.

i use bead head leach patterns on them, has marabou tied in as a tail, usually with a crystal flash chenille as the body.
