magnets are obsolete. Bismuth doesnt attract to magnets nor do a lot of the other shots.

no, the brass says bismuth, the hull has nothing

That same load with a win209 and 35 grains of steel powder comes in at 1440-1450 and is a very solid performer
you split the lbc 4 slits or 3? I've been doing three and getting some good long range patterns. Still wonder what the pressure is on that load, was told its just a hair over 11k but would be nice to know. I think flight should send some in for testingdog walker wrote:jehler wrote:Cheddite hull with 36 grains of steel, lbc wad and 1 1/4 ounce of shot is my pet load, gives me 1500-1515 and is a few hundred pounds over spec. I ran that 36 grain LBC load against RSI 74 the other day in a SBE with a factory mod choke. The Sam 1's yielded higher pattern percentages by about 10% but the LBC pattern was by far superior to the Sam 1's. I didn't chrono the loads but I did last year and the results for the LBC were right on with the 1500 fps mark. They worked great in B and 1's on snows

35 grains of steel with a cheddite 209 is a safe load, I load it with 36 grains and a cci209m and it's hot, I don't shoot it out of 3" guns, but jgun does
