Don't work around here. We have to sit in clumps of 4 or 5 trees. If I don't have back cover 9 deer outa 10 pick me off without moving.

Nice. We have 160 acres in the middle of the Huron national forest. Which is more land than I could ever scout and hunt. It's nice having endless options but the private land doesn't give much advantage when your surrounded by public "brown it's down" hunters.

It's bordered on the east by a interstate and the west boundary is a bayou.against the law to park at the launch and walk in and cannot be dropped of on side of interstate.have to launch a boat and access it when you could walk.boat ramp is shit.ill have to bring my go devil.nobody hunts it much cuz it's alot of headache

The 6 point I shot cuz I needed meat and the same with the doe me and my buddy missed.im hunting these places mainly for a chance at a P&y deer but if I need the meat I'll shoot a doe or buck.i rarely shoot more than two deer a year cuz I don't need that much.we get 6 tags here which in my mind is way to much.i wish they'd cut it down to 3 or cracklins Dow on them poaching sobs

Bigger deer in these areas because of the habitat.all are in the Mississippi alluvial valley.my marsh deer don't have the habitat to grow the amount of big deer they do.they got em but they hard to come by
