I don't keep track. Not important to me. I only remember hunting with my son, the guys I hunted with, the spots we hunted, how we hunted em, the shit we talked, the amount of coffee we consumed, the bullshit stories we made up, our successes, our failures, etc.

We had a great first half. Second half slowed down quite a bit.

Don't get me wrong I could care less if you keep track. In fact put your totals in your sig.

I understand why guys like Rick keep track. It's business

I keep track of where I kill what and what time of year, wind, weather, temp...I'm hoping in a few years I'll be able to look back at past hunts and know the best place to go for the days conditions.

I remembered this year cause I didn't have to take my boots off to help count them.

This is the first season, since I got Kodi, that I did not keep a log. Usually, I log all hunts, who hunted with us, what the group total was, how many retrieves and by which dog, duck species and sex, location and how many I personally took.
This was Kodi's 9th season and I only hunted him 4 times. He retrieved birds every hunt. I'm guessing I didn't even kill 50 birds, an all time low for numbers. If I count the WFF hunts, I bet this season contained more skunks than I've had in one season for years, if not since I started duck hunting. However, I had a blast and a season to remember that I hunted with a bunch of internet duck dicks.

I thought you guys back east just threw them in a dumpster?

Snows taste no different than a canada...and goose is better than duck...and I eat mergansers. Surely no dumpsters are involved.

Well that's just simply wrong.

Ducks>Canadas>Snows

Negative, specks are clearly number 1.

Naw, I keep a log for my own amusement and to share with others who might give a hoot: http://www.pitblind.com/index.php/forum/rick. It's far from a sales tool, as everyone knows all the other guides limit every day. Mostly just helps me reminisce and draw comparisons with other seasons in the archives: http://www.pitblind.com/index.php/forum/365-logbook-archives.

Don't have an exact number, but I was an accessory to the death of over 300 waterfowl, which is probably about 260 more dead waterfowl than my second best year. Hunted 4 different states, two of which were new to me.

About 90 on the barge hunt.

135 in Nodak

100 or so in Kansas (we let Jim Beam count them)

And about a half dozen here in Cheddar.

Some awesome trips and good times. The fact that were ever I drove I happened to land on a pile of birds just made it that much better.

Haven't totaled numbers yet, I know its gonna be quite a bit lower than last year, but I counted days afield and it definitely wasn't for a lack of effort. Tomorrow, which will be last day of regular season, will be 50 outings.

Damn man, I was a slack as this year. I'd be suprised if I hit 15 trips.

105 or whatever it is in the Pac flyway, but some duck and goose days aren't overlapped if that makes sense.
