Hell, when we hunt scoters and, are off the line a bit, we bang on the side of the boat to get them to look.

I've called divers on Clinton Lake. He's right. Brrr em.

Coulda been useful info yesterday, always have heard there's no way to call a diver. We had tons of birds take a look at our spread(s) yesterday , but would come in close and flare outside the decoys and we had the boat hidden on another island and we were hidden well, I just think they've figured out what a decoy is this late in the season.

best start saving money for new barrels. that chambering is a barrel eating sob.

I don't plan to shoot it a whole lot. But yes that's what had me etchy about the deal. But the guy ha only fired 23 shells. Still lots of barrel life left. Main use will be or hunting.

Not sure I'd believe a guy who said he fired a firearm only 23 times, said fuck it, I'm selling it.
I'd ask to see leftover ammo AND COUNT IT.

If it was just used as a hunting rifle, then that 23 times could be over 5 years. I get my rifle out the weekend before season. Shoot it 3 times, if it's sighted in I call it good. One or 2 shots at deer through the season, then it goes back away till next season.

It's actually brass we're counting. 77 new pieces of lapua and 23 once fired lapua all from the same bag. When Gene says he's only fired 23, it means that. He just developed a accurate load within 23 shots, but he was using matchkings.

That works out to a 5 shot group that is .17" center to center at 100 yards. Not that is not possible, but the probability of that kind of accuracy out of a TC puts your buddy Gene in a world class group of shooters.

Not to mention that environmental conditions make it near impossible.

Just a note to you. A load that works great at 300 might not do worth a shit at 1 or 2. Take for example my 7x57 Mauser. At 300 it piles 162 A-Maxs on top of one another. That same load at 100 throws them all over the fuckin' place like a machine gun. And since I'm sure you want proof of this load, I'll even type out the recipe.

7x57 Mauser
162 gr. Hornady A-Max
Remington Brass
Federal 215 Match
46.6 grs. H4350
COL: 3.283"= .005" off the lands.

Judges?

Ruling on the field still stands. You are claiming 1/6 MOA on a 5 shot group out of a TC Venture no matter how you cut it. You are sure you want to claim that center to center, your 5 shots at 300 yards were 2/3's the size of a dime.

The only flotation foam in mine is in the life jackets. They are definitely for a worse case scenario, but it is reassuring knowing I can pump more than 25 gallons of water a minute out.

Did I ever say it was fresh out of the box and a cheapo scope slapped on it, oh hell no! It's a bill hicks edition run, and the only thing different between this rifle an a normal venture is the fluting on the barrel an the 11 degree target crown. Then the action and recoil lug has been glass bedded. The barrel is free floated to where you can slide 3 dollar bills under neith it to the action. It wore benchrest mounts and rings with a high dollar 20 power 30mm Leupold with target dot. Of course I don't get the rings, bases, and scope but you see what was done to this gun?

I was thinking the same thing. Never heard of a sidewinder bullet that consistently hits as 300 yards. Would be good for shooting around trees.
