I have severalof his calls(Original, Snubnose, smallbore, and large bore) and like them all. My two personal favorite are his snubnose and small bore. All of his calls have great range and it boils down to your personal calling style in figuring out what you would like the best. If Gary is back up and making calls and you are ordering from him he will take care of you and give some great input. I run a daisy cutter with his CCC calls because they are similar in air presentation needed if that is any help.

I have had all of Gary's calls and my favorites are the Throwback, Snubnose and his Smallbore throwback. And his customer service was always tops

The throwback puts ducks on the water for me. Watching several flocks compete to get into a hole first is something I had never seen until I started using Gary's calls. They work great.

Not sure but I don't think he makes wood calls anymore, except for special circumstances, all he does is acrylic now.

This
Garys putting in huge numbers at his job so he stopped taking orders for his wood calls, with maybe a couple exceptions. He didnt want to have customers waiting months to get calls.
There were threads started regarding his calls that generated a lot of interest so he decided to put out some CNC calls. He tunes the inserts himself

Notice that little chip out of the insert? If it's chipped like that four times...its mine. I chipped one taking it apart, then used a knife to make three more.

Plus $90 is a bit high.
