Never targeted geese with only goose decoys before, we usually pass shoot 'em if they're low enough or sneak up on em. This year we are going to try targeting geese simce we got our layout blinds.

It's fun shit when everything falls into place. After we got our limit, we sat there an watched a couple thousand circling us. They all just kept landing. It was cool. 8-)

Seeing the wood got me thinking calls. I got the lathe, shop, and a jig lined up. All I need is lots of wood to practice on. Going to start searching out hedge trees. Just hedge. Once I get me a pile of seasoned wood start turning out some hedge.
I LOVE hedge calls the best. Nobody wants to make em cuz I think it's hard on tools. Its hard on chainsaws for sure!
