You guys are crazy! I could eat prime rib for dinner every night. I've had bad prime rib that I didn't care for, but a good piece of prime rib is great. Soft and tender with amazing flavor, love the stuff.

Finally we completely agree with each other. Dumb ass kids don't know how to appreciate a great cut of slow roasted beef.

Always. I enjoy a horseradish or bleu cheese crust on my steaks from time to time, as well.

I've only been to that place once, but it was great. House of Prime Rib for dinner and Dim Sum for brunch the next day in China Town, it was a good trip.

Anybody ever try a chuck-eye? Cut comes from right next door to the ribeye but nowhere near the price.

Looks like that piece would be medium-rare. It is truly an amazing cut of meat, if it is done right. You eat it all, meat and the fat are delicious!

More rare than medium on that one. The fat makes prime rib good.

The piece I had was at the Big Texan in Amarillo. Fucker was cold, kinda ruined it for me.

No, being serious. I was at the butcher shop looking for a steak, mentioned I like strip but didn't feel like spending almost 12 bucks per pound and he suggested the chuck-eye. They sell it for around $5.50/, I've bought it a couple times now, its a decent cut.

Most prime rib is on the rare side. Not surprising that a sirloin fan doesn't like it.

You should stick to The Sizzler for your steak.
