Building a boat blind like TK did is an exercise in idiocy. Yes he stated that it was for use on calm days....WTF? Never heard of a weather change...........Oh no, we will check the forecast...WTF? Has the weatherman ever been wrong?

Building a boat with a billboard for one side of a boat blind is stupid (in my opinion) unless it is a heavy boat with enough motor to navigate safely when the weather changes. The boat might be comfortable on warm sunny days with no wind but aren't we talking about duck hunting?

In the "scissors or fixed blind" thread a guy named honky something made an excellent argument against fixed blinds.

It puts cyclical stresses on the aluminum boat (from trailering) which will fatigue and crack it eventually.
