We've seen the video and know that you have a welder....screw a 4X7 piece of plywood to one side of your boat and a 2X7 piece to the other side and report back to us about how well it runs in a cross wind.

I don't see where the issue would lie in doing this.

It's not the hard side blind that is the "problem".

It's that putting one on a relatively small, low sided and narrow flat-bottom boat is not that good of an idea.

Have we run TK completely off?

If so, someone should call him, say "We're sorry, please come back." because he sure is fun to poke fun at.

He reminds me of the song: "Every time I go to town, the boys start kicking my dog around.........."

Not a chance. His favorite thing in the whole world is drinking whiskey and reading about himself on blogs. He is here in full force i promise. I bet he just did a snort while reading your message as I press submit.

I wouldnt call a 1654 a small boat by any means. Its not a 2072, but its beamy enough to be safe. Hard side blinds are everywhere around here. I hunted out of a 1648 with a hard side for a season and never once had a doubt to its stability. I wouldn't take one in the ocean, but you are talking about 1-2' waves when the wind really starts ripping on the big lakes. I hunt out of a scissor blind only because it is easy to take off and store during the summer when I am fishing out of my boat. If I had a dedicated duck boat it would sure as hell have a hard blind on it. Ron is just an old asshole who feels like TK is stepping into his wheelhouse and doing a better job at it, the rest of yall are just on the band wagon because they saw the "free candy" painted on the side. Unless he invites you hunting, why do any of you give 2 shits about his blind?

Were all fucking nuts my friend. We actually take time out of our day to write messages to, and argue with people we will likely never meet and who have absolutely no bearing on our real lives, yet we still have a need to win this argument, or belittle that person.

I think all this has little to do with TK's boat and a lot to do with TK's self righteous assholenish combined with his narcissistic inability to take criticism

I'd hunt out of it. For real not joking.
