No. I've avoided touching them as much as possible. What do I touch to let it loose?

If you need to work with them, short the two points together with a screw driver or insulated pliers. When I first started doing hvac my grandpa went to discharge one on a piece of metal that my arm happened to be also touching, it got me. Its not often you can chew gramps out and get away with it.

Will do. Gotta rewire these up this week and don't really want to get hit by them.

Ever since then ive alway been religious about disconnecting the wires from them with my needle nose pliers then immediately shorting them. It might be being overly cautious but that shit hurt!

Apparently these have a resister in them that discharges them automatically.

Yup. One mag through it and it is a snappy little fucker! My 45 bunny fart loads are more manageable, but I didn't exactly buy it for a range gun.

That's a bummer. Magazines get spendy, that's for damn sure. I don't get how everyone is excited over the new Glock 42. It's a .380 with 6+1. I would have thought the Glock 36 (45 ACP) would have really caught on. That was thinnest of the line up till the 42 and maybe the 41. It holds 6+1 and has a hell of a lot more punch than the .380 ACP. Oh well, I still would want to get shot by .380! cool buy.

I think glock was targeting new or women shooters with a carry piece and glock dependability. If I were going to carry something that big though, it would be 9mm if for nothing else, cost savings. 380 is almost as much as shooting factory loads through my 45!!

I already reload for 45 (kinda just started) an plan to get dies for 9mm and 223. I will probably stick with factory ammo for the 380 because I will only shoot it enough to stay familiar with it, not for recreation.

I would shoot it at least 500 time to "smooth it up" if you will. That'd be a big kick in the balls to have a malfunction when you need it the most.
