Up next....

The PerazzmaTaz-
This one was a bite in the ass. I had to sell my BT-99 Plus I had just to buy this from a guy for $1250. I'm gla I did. I did decent with the BT but the Perazzi was 2 steps above it. The only part was it kicked, hard. I sent it away to Stu to straighten the bore, back bore it, port it and eliminate the forcing cone. That was about an $800 deal that I was lucky with my parents to make a deal where they paid half, I paid the other, then work the half I owe them off all summer. The stock that was also on there needed to be replaced. I traded it off to a guy who said he had an uncut TM stock. It wasn't to say the least. The stock that was on there had a pogo butt recoil adsorbing bullshit. They have never worked for. I have always experienced a double recoil. That PFS stock was also heavy as hell. About 7 pounds heavy. Best score to this date with this is a 100 from 20 or 21 yards. I have shot a 197/200 with it at a shoot when I first got it but that was singles.

I read all of Jim's notes in a Batman voice. If you didn't, go back and try it.

Next two on the list...

.25-06 Remington
This is a Smith and Wesson Model 1500 in .25-06 Remington. I either paid $350 for it or got it from Gramps, one of the two. It's got a Redfield tracker on it. I killed my biggest buck with this gun as well. I've free floated the barrel, trued the bolt face, put a Timney in, and glass bedded the recoil lug. It's a fine shooter for sure.

.270 Winchester...
I won this at the Helena Great Gun Give Away trap shoot and beat 7 people to where me and Terry Tacbaco went almost 150 straight before he dropped a bird. All this is is a Ruger American. I like it alright but it has some punch to it. I killed my bull with t last year.

Up next....

Remington Model 34s...

I received these both as a gift when I turned ten from a family member. A pair of old model 34s. The top one belonged to my Great Grandpa Gene (Who I have been told many times I look a lot like this man) and the bottom one, my grandpa bought in a Hock Shop for $50. He later found out that these two models were made on the exact same date a year apart if I recall correctly. They both shoot fine and whack ground squirrels hard.

Man he was to. I met him once before he passed. I wish I had been born 20 years earlier. I would have really like to have gotten to know him. From the short conversation I had with him, he knew his shit about horses and knew a hell of a lot about ranching. He was good at it. Also could smoke 2-3 packs of unfiltereds till the day he died.
