Its a nice gun. Pretty long for a 22 though. Got it out of my grandpa's barn. It is rusted to hell on the outside but a bunch of dirt dobbers clogged up the barrel saving it. Once I got all that cleaned out it shoots great.

Next?

DU Special...

This is a Marlin 1894 Classic Chamber in .25-20 Winchester and is a DU gun from 1991. I got this from my Step dad because it's "Too Expensive to shoot." If you handload of course it isn't. This a gun capable of hitting golf balls at 100 yards if you can see the front sight razor sharp and the golf ball.

From the short conversation I had with him, he knew his shit about horses and knew a hell of a lot about ranching. He was good at it. Also could smoke 2-3 packs of unfiltereds till the day he died.

My Grandfather was the same way. He grew up around Malta and lived all over the state doing cowboy stuff and then was a cook. Fond memories of fishing with him on Flathead Lake when I was growing up.

Both Gene and my Grandpa Russ were cowboys by heart. Did yours ever smoke? Gene smoked a few packs of unfiltereds a day, Russ smoke up to 5 packs a day, everyday. It's unbelievable how much tolerance they both had.

That's what I meant by "was the same way", unfiltered/rolled his own up till the day he died.

You have to have a high tolerance to suck on those on a regular basis.

Next up...

Remington 870 Fugly Hybrid Trap...
I got this idea after I put together a Wingmaster trap hybrid to make an Express Trap Hybrid. First and foremost, I used an 870 Express Special Purpose reciever, then a Magpul SGA stock with a 1/2" comb riser in place, Wingmaster trigger and bolt assembly with the Forend off that field gun. The final touch was the 870 TB Trap 30" fixed full barrel. This is my 2nd back up gun in case something were to go wrong with the TMS and the other 870.

870 Wingmaster...
This is the one I swapped out parts with for the Fugly. I used this as my main duck gun. I like it but 13 5/8" LOP is too short for me. I've killed ducks and geese with this and the occasionally snipe.

1100 Super Grade...
This is only called a super grade because of the wood but other than that, it's a plain Jane with nice scroll engraving work on the Reciever and bolt. I do alright with it but its slow swinging wise. I do like the fact that there's no recoil. This gun also doesn't have problems cycling light loads (3/4 oz).
