Idk if I would want that. Then it becomes a dedicated duck boat. It would suck to just go out and play around in. Wouldn't be too bad for fishing, just the whole boat would be a deck. I think I'd like to have two pods in the back and a rod box on each side if I ever got one.
pretty sure the doors remove to make 4 cockpits with bench seat type deal between them. Would be a great bowfishing rig too with the whole thing being decked.

Even removed it would be a pain in the ass. I like it to be fully open. Walk back and forth. You can still hunt 4 men VERY comfortably out of the 17 foot boat. That's with the deck up front. The way those rounded chines are it opens up the boat.

I like the lay down idea. And a bigger boat is nice for hunting big water. My 16' is scary at times out there.

Yeah. My 1640 gets spooky at times. It actually feels more stable with a load in it. My main hunting lake can really get rolling with a stiff wind, and it sucks picking up decoys in a jon boat with waves hitting it broad side. My next boat will definitely have 20 inch sides.

I always told myself I wanted a boat big enough I could piss out of without being scared of tipping.

I can do that off the back seat of mine. But it's too narrow toward the front.

You could piss any direction out of mine but I usually step out on the pods.

When I had Ollys boat I'd piss off the hunt deck all over his mud buddy. Made it run better.

I pissed on my own muffler.

Tunnel hulls are awesome for running skinny water, but if you get too shallow and ground out, your ass is stuck  No picking the motor up and pushing or floating out like most boats.

Just don't stop.
Some day I'd like to have one. But it would be flat bottom with polly on it to save the hull from rocks and to help scoot across the shallow spots. And it would be really wide and long. Something like a 22'x90" so it would draft crazy shallow.
