Sold all the trucks. Only have pickups left.

It is far from bad @$$

Here it is getting towed by a toyota.

I was headed out duck hunting by myself and I had to call my mom at 5:30 to tell her to get my other pickup to tow my boat home. Then I finally got a hold of another friend to tow my pickup home.

I also have this Jeep. I have the star on the door to be funny. It is not meant to impersonate any type of military vehicle.

Here is the tailgate after an hour and a half hunt with QH

Here it is again with an aquapod in the back.

Do you guys who live in other parts of the country consider trucks and pickups two different things?

I noticed clyde said he sold his trucks but still has pickups, and bufflehead said my "truck"

Just wondering bc down here we call everything thats not a car, motorcycle, van, or boat a "truck"...I drive a tahoe and i call it my truck bc its built on a half ton pickup truck platform.

I guess its just like we call everything carbonated a "coke"

here a truck is anything with a bed(no clyde, not the kind you sleep in) on the back.

pickups are less than 10 hole wheels. The only exception would be light duty farm trucks.

Generally anything larger than a 3500 or f-350 is considered a truck.

Just like tractors, if it doesn't have a 3 point hitch, rear facing pto that turns at least 540 rpm. Most tractors can't mow lawn. If your tractor can mow a lawn with a lawn mower deck it is probably not a tractor. The exceptions would be some golf courses appear to have tractor with mower decks. I haven't been close enough to tell.

If you say get me a coke. I'm going to get you cola flavored soda and only cola flavored.

When you kill a deer/elk/moose/caribou/red stag/etc... and it is symmetrical you only count points on one side, eye guards do not count.
If your game animal is not symmetrical you count the side with the most points first then the side with fewer. example 4X3 deer has 4 points on one side three points on the other, with or without eye guards.

Bufflehead. I don't care what the manufacture calls them. I don't care what car and driver magazine calls them. If you call a queer a heterosexual, you could call him that and I could call him that and his friends could call him that. At the end of the day he is still a queer.

I guess were just much simpler folk in this region of the country.

I have a lot of family in oregon though, they always seem to go through a bit of a culture shock when they first get down here but then they wind up not wanting to leave.

They drive pickups, drink pop, go fishing in cricks..etc

Where at in OR?

what do you mean by crick? creek pronounced as crick?

The only time creek is pronounced crick is when it is used as a proper noun. beaver crick, butte crick, milk crick etc. otherwise it is pronounced creek.

My wittle TRUCK. And yes, I do call it a truck. It has a truck bed therefore it is a truck. It gets me from point A to point B. Gets okay gas mileage and can pull a boat and an enclosed trailer full of decoys just fine. Thinking about trading it in and getting an actual truck though. Something with a little more horsepower.

For the record, older elcaminos and rancharos are sweet, but they are just cars.
