Nope. Some of my rods have about 30 feet of line on them, that's it. It breaks, tie on a new leader. When it's too short to cast, THEN I re-spool it. Except the saltwater rods. I'll re-spool them every couple years or so. When you fling 8 ounces of weight on a 14' rod, and watch all that shit go flinging off the end into the ocean, it makes me sad.

Its not that likely. The rods are so long that it would take you trying to get it in your neck. I've never used 8 oz weights, mostly 4-6, but I assume its a lot like how we catfish at the lake.

Its not that likely. The rods are so long that it would take you trying to get it in your neck. I've never used 8 oz weights, mostly 4-6, but I assume its a lot like how we catfish at the lake.

Yep it's quite a bit, but at $8.50 for two spools, I couldn't pass it up. Some of my reels need the line changed before I start fishing again anyway.

As awesome as I thought neoprene was when I ditched my old Red Ball canvas waders, the breathables are that much better. I can't wait to see what technology does next.
