I have several friends that use the #2 definition and it makes me want to punch them in the throat.

The real question here is why is nuffdaddy going to Urban Dictionary for a real definition?

I didn't want to know the real definition. I wanted to know if other people actually used the word like that. Apparently they aren't the only ones.

Have heard many words misused in weird slang-ways. Phrases as well but up until this morning never heard of "crucial". It's not a word I use in everyday conversion.

Crucial is what Red and his Cali buddies used to say to each other when they were high schoolers in the 1980's in order to express great appreciation, awe, emotion, etc at something. It had the same meaning of the words epic or cool to the current generation.

You forgot "scientific", "Turbo", "lite" and a couple other words misused by advertisers to the point where the word had new definition. Oh yeah..."dynamic".
