Cheap place warm to get away?

Postby Goldfish » Fri Mar 28, 2014 3:23 am

It snowed again today. I'm ready to go sit on a beach, or at least in the sum by an outdoor pool where it's warm. Anyone have a suggestion that won't have me seeking tips from strangers to pay for it?

That is a resounding YES!

There are no laws on that beach during spring break... Sooooo much public indecency.

Cramming into Spinnakers or Club La Vela along with 5 billion other people just so I can check out some Woo girls is not fun. Along with the techno dance music, or Luke Bryan song played with a hip hop beat, fuck that! Seeing some indecency isn't worth it, hell I've prob lived it anyways.

I went there on spring break ONCE. Never again would I go there. It was hell. I much prefer the 30a/ seaside area of the Florida panhandle. But I prefer the Georgia and northeast Florida Atlantic coast to all of that. I like the marsh lands, the murky water, Spanish moss in the live oaks and the fact that there's no body there. Fernandina beach fl is my favorite spot. It's really boring and slow so stay away from it ok?

Oh, I prefer the slower calmer areas over that place 99 times out of a hundred, but those two weeks are two out of my life that I won't soon forget. What's wrong with enjoying a party every once in a while?

I hated it man. At one point after we got kicked out of our condo on the second night and we were walking the strip me and my buddy looked at each other and said "I'd imagine this is what hell is like" at the same exact time. People (guidos) throwing up and fighting everywhere. Another buddy of mine saw a drunk dude get ran over by a car on that trip and said there was brains all over the road.

As much as Cancun would be nice, the girl doesn't have her passport. Which actually makes Cancun sound really nice...

Red, do I wanna know how you know about these cruises? Dumbly enough there are some really cheap cruises, but once again, no passport.

Come on down to Rockport, Texas. I'll take you fishing and we will drink beer and eat oysters on the half shell.

Tell me about it. Was supposed to play golf on Monday, woke up this morning and there's an inch or two of snow on the ground.

I'll admit it, I cried a little bit.

Cheap place warm to get away?

Postby DeadEye_Dan » Sun Mar 30, 2014 9:58 am

It's supposed to hit 80° today. I'm on the top floor balcony of the condo kicking myself in the ass for not bringing an air horn.

I suppose I could pop off a few 9mm rounds, probably achieve the same effect.
