The butthurt is still strong from Rex's thread.

How could I be butthurt from his thread? And AB you're an idiot.

Just think it's funny that Rex got called out, then proceeded to hand everyone their ass throughout an entire thread. Not sure how good it feels to call a 16 year old kid an idiot, especially when he has more guns and awards than you do.

I didn't upfront call him an idiot, I made a generalized statement about MT residents based on my experiences with them. I called AB an idiot, made that point pretty clear.

Hey, pay respect man! That liberal arts degree is a tough one for 90% of the officers to get!

I know you guys are in the "smart service". The wing-waxer, button-pusher branch.
My dad was stationed at Chanute AFB when I was born. I was born in the AF.
Have heard plenty about how great the AF is. Troops with rifles take turf after you guys blow it up.
Don't you got a fire to put out or something?

Respect is earned, sitting behind a desk telling people to do things you will not does not give you my respect. I have seen very very very few good officers.

In AB's defense, infantry officers don't generally "sit behind a desk".

What you said was very, very true, though. In 6 years, I had 1 decent officer, and he was a first lieutenant ROTC, who wanted to do his time and get out. Ironically enough, because he didn't care a bit about his OER, it made him a much better officer. No politics, got shit done, and did what was right regardless of how it made him look. It was a pleasure to work for him. All the others could go piss up a rope, for all I care. Although they'd probably fuck that up, too.

For me, every officer that was prior enlisted, was always great. They are usually harder workers and aren't completely retarded about military life as an Lt.

And still, AB thinks Quack is AF....

I've heard that, but never worked with any. They called it Green to Gold when I was in, the very title of which was a little insulting to enlisted folks.

I think it's still called that in the Army. It is the same commissioning program as the AF. AECP or AESP depending on how many credits you have before applying. I almost did it but I quickly learned that the officer life is not me, at all.

I gave the chicken bits a light toss in seasoned flour, cant stress this enough - light flour, then browned it in the cast iron. We used BBQ sauce on one pizza and cream cheese on the other.
