I went to military training with a guy from Montana. He too was an idiot, I am starting to notice a strange pattern.

The butthurt is still strong from Rex's thread.

How could I be butthurt from his thread? And AB you're an idiot.

Just think it's funny that Rex got called out, then proceeded to hand everyone their ass throughout an entire thread. Not sure how good it feels to call a 16 year old kid an idiot, especially when he has more guns and awards than you do.

I didn't upfront call him an idiot, I made a generalized statement about MT residents based on my experiences with them. I called AB an idiot, made that point pretty clear.

What you said was very, very true, though. In 6 years, I had 1 decent officer, and he was a first lieutenant ROTC, who wanted to do his time and get out. Ironically enough, because he didn't care a bit about his OER, it made him a much better officer. No politics, got shit done, and did what was right regardless of how it made him look. It was a pleasure to work for him. All the others could go piss up a rope, for all I care. Although they'd probably fuck that up, too.

I think it's still called that in the Army. It is the same commissioning program as the AF. AECP or AESP depending on how many credits you have before applying. I almost did it but I quickly learned that the officer life is not me, at all.
