I have rolls of mono that have never been touched. Pretty much use fire line and fluorocarbon for everything now.

I fish mostly FINS Windtamer 30 lb test with 8 lb mono dia. I really like braid on my spinning rod that I use to freeline shrimp and croker fishing for trout and freelining chunks of crap fishing for drum.

Jet fuel is comparable to kerosene. Its not high octane gasoline.
AvGas is different.

My diesel truck will run on diesel, kerosene, or jet fuel.

bought a hi point 9mm for the father in law last week, 100rds 223, 1 box each of 9mm and 45, and a 5 can pack of :shiver: grizzly wintergreen for $5.....

i cant wait for shooting season

assa looks like a rap star compared to my FIL. he has been wanting a c9 for going on two years but couldnt bring himself to pay the $160 for one. then the price went up to $169. i thought he was gonna flip shit when he found out! kicking himself that he didnt buy it at the "cheaper" price. he is the kind of guy that would (and has) gotten out of bed a 3am in winter to help load a broke down car onto a trailer and expect nothing in return for it. he really does deserve something better but, i found this deal and its what he wanted anyway.....

found one on sale for 145. picked it up for him, and he is happy as a clam, and proud that his little girl found such a "great guy." :lol:

I doubt you'd be disappointed. I was gonna put a review in the gear forum, but as tall as you are I think you'd like the custom sizing.

I never did think I was going to buy the sucker but man, I was fingering it and it just felt good. Lot Of metal to it. From the box of factory stuff I put through it, it shot pretty nice. Not a single hiccup in the 50 rounds down the barrel. Still have a lot more shooting to do with it before I can get any good opinion on it.
