Either go cheap or expensive on the paint. Middle of the road is a waste of money. Just prep it good with a light sand and a wipe down with acetone or mineral spirits and it will last a while.

Nuffdaddy...Calc 2...that one is tough. After that it gets easy. Linear algebra and diffy q is a snap compared to calc 2.
Take it seriously. That class sorts out a lot of people. Calc one had like 16 sections...calc two had about eight sections while calc three had ONE section at the college I went to.
If you make it to the third semester...you got it made.

I'll be taking calc 2 again. Not failing, but I don't get it.

I took it twice as well. Hated the first prof I got stuck with and did well all the way until the last exam and final. I told that guy to fuck off, I'm dropping your class and getting Dr. Carl Lorenz to teach me calculus because you're too good.
The guy was brilliant and worked for State Farm Insurance. Teaching undergrads calculus was beneath him and he made it obvious and very painful.

Curious about what you're struggling with. Trigonometric Substitution Method?
That shit was hard.

I took first semester physics twice as well. HATED the teacher and played out the same exact scenario as in math. Got to the last exam with almost 100% average and had a question. Went to prof, asked it and he said, "you're a smart guy figure it out". I didn't take the last exam or the final yet still passed. I was PISSED!
I took physics semester 1 again because I wanted an A.

All the different methods of integration. I know how to do them when I'm told to do "a problem with this technique". But when I'm supposed to "integrate this problem" and can't get the problem started. I can't think enough steps ahead to figure out which technique to use.

Have you learned the technique of "guessing" yet. That one will blow your mind.
You just take an educated guess and work it out and if it works out, you did it right.

In general if you pick the wrong method it gets ugly REALLY QUICK. You'll spot that after you pick the wrong method a couple times.
Generally if you're doing the right method it's beautiful and easy. If it starts getting really complicated and impossible, you picked the wrong method, try again.
