Atta boy TK.

Earth day is coming up, and everyone gets a big dick over planting trees. I don't get it. I think we should all go cut a few trees down. There's more adult trees in North America now than there was when it was discovered. I'm taking them out as fast as I can, and those stupid assholes just keep planting more.

Did you do any burning this spring, TK?

Lance, you do realize there are state economies based on this modeling "cut, replant, cut and repeat". It's better than letting it burn out of control every few years like would happen if it was never cut. I'm sure you don't need wood in your cave but, as for the rest of America, most homes are stick built to some extent.

Plastic is a FAR better material for building things than wood. Ask anyone who has an acrylic duck call. @

I'm sure firemen love it too. Have you ever seen videos of the plastic decks that catch fire? It's an arsonists dream come true.

Bill,
I burnt my place, and 3 of my neighbors place. A few days later when it rained the fire chief actually cried with joy. Only you can prevent forest fires.

It is a routine pratice to do in Missouri and Kansas to help control brush and weeds in pasture and in the woods. Helps to get rid of unwanted weeds, brush, and other tender. Have rolled down I-70 in Kansas and seen the rolling flint hills being burned off.

Old man that had a pasture down the road from us did it every year too. Didn't matter if we were having a bad drought or not. His land did have nice grass on it and was free of cedars.
