What's your everyday carry knife?

I'll post my knife again. Don't know what kind it is, put the money with it for scale. Sorry its not the best picture.

I bet you could, never tried it. Don't want to mess up the blade. I carry it for personal defense in case I'm attacked by a bear, mountain lion, wolf, or badger. You just never know what the day will bring. It's always better to be prepared.

I'm going to Wal-Mart tonight to get a new daily carry. You just talked me into it with that speech.

This whole time I have thought my 2 daily carry guns were sufficient.... the more you know.

That's right, you don't ever know. That's why I carry that little pink and purple knife. It cuts like a hot knife through butter, if I leave it sitting out in the sun for a few hours. Something with the heat, I think it realigns the molecules in the metal giving it a sharper edge, all I know for sure is that butter doesn't stand a chance.

None with the nice rubberized handle like that one, but yeah I got a few. Didn't want to brag or come off an asshole, but I got a pretty big selection to choose from.

Or do you carry one for personal protection? That would honestly be my only use for one but I believe I am a tad to clumsy to have it be a effective means for protection.

Seriously? Knives are an incredibly useful tool for just about anyone. I'm not sure that profession matters.

Nope. If I've said it once, I've said it a million times, liner locks blow. But seriously, CRKT's are a PITA, good knives but closing them requires entirely too much effort, especially when considering a Benchmade as an option.

Yup, I'm sure it is. Even if they didn't have that ridiculous closing mechanism, I still probably wouldn't like them because of the liner lock. Frame lock or axis lock for me.

I could open close my CRKT with one hand. Never felt like it was difficult...I do agree on the liner locks though.

As far a I'm concerned, folding knives are ok for light use but if I have to do anything serious I get a fixed blade. I'm rather fond of my fingers.
