I leave you guys alone for four days and this is what you do to the place!?!?!? I don't know what gaddy and red were fighting about in the demotivational poster thread, but I haven't finished reading through that so I'll hope it's settled and apologize for bringing it up if it is. Rex apparently forgot to take his giner pills and put a tampon in, and I haven't read any other threads yet so I don't know how else SHTF.

So my fishing trip went pretty good. It was nice and cool where I was fishing, and I limited on decent/nice trout both days of fishing. Actually, all three of us did (Me, my dad and the guy we took with us) First day I caught a rainbow that was about 2 lbs. and 4 browns that were all in the 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 lb. range. 2nd day I caught another 2 lbs. rainbow, 2 browns about 2 lbs. and 2 brook trout about 1 1/2 lbs. I was targeting the browns and brooks and throwing away most of the rainbows I caught because the browns and brooks were wild up there, and the rainbows were all planted. I would say in 2 days of fishing I caught and released about 30 rainbows. So after it was nice and cool at the lake, we drove 6 1/2 hours home, and the transfer from 65 to 70 degrees to 104 degrees sucked ass. Then, the guy we were fishing with goes "all right, I took my bag of fish, I'm headed home." So I go out to get my fish out of the ice chest, and 3 of the browns I had targeted because they taste better than the planted rainbows, were missing and replaced with 3 rainbows. I know for a fact the guy we were fishing with was the only one of us 3 that caught 3 rainbows, because that is what his entire limits consisted of, and my dad has only kept 1 rainbow. I would have gave him some damn brown trout if he would have asked, but istead the jackass had to take mine. But it's whatever, because they are only fish. It sucked the fist day of fishing, because we launched the boat at 6 am, and had our limits by 7:30 am, so I had nothing to do all day. Wish my mom would have let my friend bring his girlfriend and his sister.

A little lake in the mountains near Alturas, CA. Fishing probably wasn't as good as I made it sound, but it was good. My dad and I both have second rod validations so we were trolling 5 rods at the same time. First day I think we got lucky catching all our fish that fast. Second day we had to fish all day to get our limits. The fish up there are mostly pretty small, but there are some nice ones. I hooked on to one that hammered the shit out of my rod. I fought with him for probably 15-20 minutes before getting him near the boat, the he dove and stripped a bunch of lie off my rod, and wrapped around a log. I ended up losing him. I would guess him at 6 or 7 lbs. if comparing it to some 4 and 5 lbers I've caught in the past.

He told me a story about the last time he drew #1 at Delevan. He was talking to this guy, and the guy had beer, so my cousin starts drinking with him. After my cousin gets about 6 beers deep, the guy offered to fellate my cousin. My cousin hauled ass away from the dude. Only in CA.

another reason I left California. Couple of weeks ago three of us were fishing with 7 rods and had 4 fish on at the same time and it was a cluster fuck. Thank God, only spilled one beer and we landed all four fish. Had to hand line the last one because it was wrapped with another line. Fishing, catching and drinking with friends..........how does it get much better?
