Numb hands make it hard to pick up and handle decoys too. I don't really mind cold hands but it pisses me off when I'm trying to clip them on the carabiner and my hands can't open the clip.

Seems like it's either hot as balls here or below freezing during the season. Don't get too many 50* days.

This was my last 2 hunts of the season. Couldn't get anyone to go with me because it was 0* and blowing and snowing most of the time.

Well I only have two main things to do:
1. Continue progress with the pup.
2. Replace camo netting on the boat blind. The stuff I had to settle for late last season wasn't what I was looking for, but some sort of Swiss army surplus mesh. It fits the blind and looks great, but it's cotton and absorbs water so it gets heavy and I'm afraid it will rot. Want to get some custom cut pieces of this stuff form the local Army/Navy store.

How much military camo netting are you thinking about using? What size of pieces specifically? I have some laying around I can look and see what I have. Are you going to OWF this weekend?

Sure you can. Then drop the ice covered bastages back in the water.

A dozen or two isn't a problem...it's the 6 and 7 dozen that get to you.

I slip sheepskin condoms on my fingers when it's time to pick up decoys. Keeps my fingertips dry and doesn't hinder my dexterity
