I want some quail for dinner. What are the odds of shooting a few when I'm in Cali?

Just messing anyways. I'm a cereal and pop tart addict.

Stormy day off has me climbing the walls for something to do, so teal are defrosting and awaiting a grocery to open, so I can stuff them for the pot. That'll make me wish it were teal season and give me a sense of direction while climbing the walls.

This last season was a good one for teal. They stuck around till mid November. Shot a good amount of them. Love me some teal.

They made it down here around the first of the year. Big balls of them flying around most of January. Fun hunting, one of my favorite birds to shoot and eat.

Normally they only stick around for the first two weeks of October. When I was hunting with HFNV and Belding, we seen some teal even though it was the weekend before Thanksgiving. Really wish I wouldn't have left them two bastards early. They ended up almost getting a limit each when I left at 1 in the afternoon.
