Try a Walmart parking lot. Turns out waterfowl don't need water. You can get them anywhere. We are paving over our club next year. Putting in a drive in movie theater with a few blinds for us during the day and evening before the shows start. Win-Win!!

Ok ???

They are my favorite goose to hunt they love the call.
You call and wait and they will answer back.
I've called them in up at lower Klamath with no decoys.
They remind me of Widgeon they come in with their heads down scanning from left to right looking for the call.
Man I get excited just thinking about it.

There's so much pressure on them down here, it's sometimes easiest to call them without decoys, just because they study them so hard.

Like you Rick , by the time the Specks get down this far they have seen every type of set-up and calling known to man
and only the smart ones get this far but they are our primary goose hunted ( where I hunt ) and we're pretty successful
at it . With as many as 3 to 5 thousand staging in our area later in the season , it helps to have a late season with a limit
of 6 birds a day to fill the freezer !

Ditto. Usually see a few mixed in when we're up in Nodak but haven't got a shot at one yet. I have a feeling it will be like Assa shooting a pintail, I am going to turn into a school girl when the opportunity finally presents itself.

You should think about coming out west. The population has exploded in the last 20 years since I started hunting.

Was wondering the same since it's probably about nap time for him. I at least have trouble after a solid nap.

Oh, trust me, it's already on the list. If I wasn't having a kid in November it wouldn't be just Taz and Jarbo in Cali this year! Needs to happen before Almonds Forever takes over your whole state!
