The claim has been started with their homeowners insurance. I hope it goes smooth and painless. Now if I can just make sure that damn dog never hurts another person, I will be happy

I didn't look at this till now. That sucks. I hope from here everything goes smoothly and whatever comes of that dog, that everyone be safe from here on out.

Hunter is doing fine from what I hear. It is tough being 700 miles away from him. I won't even see him until a week after the incident.
The people are remorseful. They are close family so I have to be careful how I handle my anger. If I say something I can't take back I will have to deal with it for the rest of my life.

I hope everything turns out well. I feel for you. It must be tough being so far away. Plastic surgeons do wonders these days, especially with kids. Look into it right away. My niece was attacked but not as severe and you can't even tell now.

I know you say you have to use caution but family shmamaly. They should keep their dog under control. No dog should ever be trusted around children from the smallest toy dog to Great Danes.
