Electromagnetic waves mess up their communication. Several studies have been done to prove it. May or may not be the only reason, but it isn't helping them. I know of 2 natural colonies that disappeared in the last few years. They may have died, they may have moved, but i haven't found any new ones moving back around anywhere.
