Today I was reminded that good people still exist in the world. Yesterday while traveling from GA to AL I lost my wallet. I assumed I lost it at the last gas station I stopped at in Montgomery, after calling the station with no luck I went ahead and canceled all my cards and was upset that I could have been so careless. Today a man called my office because he had found the wallet and found my business cards within it. He's on his way to drop it off at the local recruiting office in Montgomery and they will get it back to me.
It's easy to forget that there are good people out there and even something as small as a returning a wallet can me something huge to someone else. I'm very thankful he found it and not someone with more sinister intentions. I will definitely be paying it forward.

“If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen.” ― Samuel Adams
