Yeah. Missed the boat on these back when they were originally offered. Now they have wood barrels. I'm putting together a lanyard of all black calls so I got ahold of Rick to see if he could use a black barrel from a different model call and he happened to have one of these still laying around so he sold it to me.

Stihl makes some nice saws, as do Husqvarna and Jonsered. Considered them all, and bought a Dolmar

Love my little $100 Poulan. Has been a blessing time and time again after storms, survived umpteen trips to work in the marsh, and I don't mind lending it to folks who do gosh knows what with it. Bought it as a throw-away for a marsh job, but when it gives up, I may just look for another like it.

i told the little pecker head i stopped going to the rally in the black hills because of the heat. this hunt is(i think) one week after the sturgis rallyi think he only asked me to go so i would bring our folks RV
How tough is it to draw those tags there? I would think with you being in Colorado that Wyoming would be a better choice. You can still buy some of the tags over the counter there. Toughest thing is finding public or a ranch that will let you hunt their place.

2 grand? I know you've got a huge piece of land but how long before buying one pencils out ahead of renting one?
