This is a little conversation piece I started years ago.
It's the longest tail feather out of each sprig I have shot over the years.
I think it's kinda cool.

The idea wasn't really original for me , I saw a guy with a mallard curl collection and put a spin on it .

He had them in a old fruit jar , the jar it's self was cool as I remember it.
Large mouth mason with a 1890s patten date , it was purple from the magnesium used back in the day
I don't know if he sprayed them with anything or not but they held their shape they didn't pack down.
