That's fucking heavy. You should sell it and buy a plastic one. Then after you only use it a couple of times, you won't feel bad when you see it gathering dirt and leaves in the yard.

Awesome work Red, thats going to be a killer rig.
I found this this past weekend for 150 and trying to work it into my budget. 14' long little sailboat that I could turn into a sweet little hunting rig.

same boat. Forward and aft

Never weighed her. But the original specs on the boat say 140 lbs. and not sure if you're clear, I didn't build this boat. It's an original two man Delashmutt II. I'm just doing alittle repair and preventative work to it

Gotcha. Those two pictures sure look different!

I was just talking to Red about turning a sailboat into a scull. That is identical to what I have...

unlike the cute little hybrid you built to load atop your mini van, this girl will hunt...a lot. My last two hunted...a lot. This one will hunt more. It won't start gathering leaves til next February.

The weights no issue. It'll be trucked or trailered. Not loaded on top of a mini van.

I might make a suggestion on a paint scheme. You'll need some black, white, purple and pink paint.

"The Bruised Vagina", he should call it, with that paint scheme. Unless the name's already taken by your shotgun.

I don't see the humor here. This thread is devoted to documenting the restoration of a classic scull boat.

Please refrain from making jokes or less than constructive comments.

These comments not only diminish the integrity of this thread, but they diminish the integrity of the whole forum.
