This might be a dumb question, but can parts just be swapped out to reload pistol/rifle/shotgun, or are there specific presses for each type of ammo?

I sure wish someone was smart enough to make something like that. I don't know of any but that don't mean shit. With the shell holder on this press it doesn't seem like it'd be that complicated either.

No kidding? I thought that was sort of standard, but thought I'd ask just to be sure. Like you said, it doesn't seem that difficult, but what do I know? Never used one.

How hard could it be to machine a cartridge holder to fit this?

Spin it to the side and it simply drops out.

On the back of the press are extra spots for other gauge toolings. Just slap whatever it is you need there.

If I knew a damn thing about metallic reloading I might jack with it, but I don't know shit.

They're somewhere on here but it'll probably be easier to go take some more.

A group of engineers in my graduating class designed an automatic reloading press with interchangable components for their senior design project. No companies were interested in buying it.

Nice score Woody. That's a sweet layout boat.
I've got a few dozen of those EAllen goldeneyes and they'll really pull birds. Only problem is you have to be careful not to breal the bills off of them.

A few dozen? Holy molly, WFM! I couldn't imagine spending that kind of money on decoys.

I've been working on some fishing tackle in my shop at the marina today. Here's some of the E.Allens goldeneyes that are sitting there. Believe me, I did not pay a lot of money for them. Pulled an Assa (bartered) with a guy who owed me some money.

Good for you, a dozen of those (painted) cost as much as a used outboard.

Nope, I was quite pleased with them, seeing as it usually takes them a couple times to get them looking right. Unfortunately he didn't have much wiggle room on these, so I paid right about $90/dozen after taxes.

Bartlein 3 groove 1-11.25 twist with a finish length of 33". Trued up 700 action with a Jewel hanging off of it. In the next couple paychecks I'll put my order in for a BC tactical medalist style 5. Then around tax time, hopefully for tax returns, I'll have enough to make a down payment on a Night Force BR 12-42x56.

Oh forgot, going to go with a Sinclair Gen. III F Class bipod and an owl ear rear bag.
