I am trying to decide which I want to get, and I am leaning towards a PLB because it can be used for other stuff.

Why did you go with the EPIRB?

Dan will have an rifle-gasim over seeing that.
“If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen.” ― Samuel Adams

It's a lot of fun and extremely accurate 1 3/8" on a group of 5 at 800yds with approximately 35ft of elevation capable of further and better just limited to 800yds down the back field

Shooting from the bench on bags helps back in the day at Quantico we qualified at 1000yds not as good as I used to be but a lot of it you retain even after retirement the m40a1 was what we uses prior to the Barrett I personally like the m40 but nothing against the Barrett it's a great weapon but at 27lbs it's a lot to lug around the m40 in my opinion was more portable and easier if rough terrain was necessary to get into position

Not an easy thing to do but it's a lot of fun when you learn how hardest thing is learning to read windage and understand how to compensate for bullet drop

Nice 788 custom. Looks just like the .225 Winchester chambered one I sold a while ago.

Any action and bolt work? What brand of barrel? Factory or Timney trigger?
