Nice 788 custom. Looks just like the .225 Winchester chambered one I sold a while ago.

Any action and bolt work? What brand of barrel? Factory or Timney trigger?

Whoops, 700 action.

Best picture I can get of it right now. Mac tools box for $120. It's too heavy for me to unload by myself so it'll sit in the bed for a bit

Really 50 degrees is bad ???? Wow the best time to hunt around here is when it's really cold around 10 to -10 degrees and when we get ice everywhere it makes me smile .
this is from last year all day under 10 degrees .

I've had some really good hunts when it gets that cold, but I'd much rather it hover around the freezing mark, or preferably just below it, so it doesn't mess up the water hunts.

I hope so. Didn't think it was possible to be a bigger wimp than me regarding cold weather.

Got up to 20* but I was the only one in my group of friends that toughed it out.
2 mallard limits in about 1.5 hours back to back days. Lost one on the second day though.
Busted 1" of ice all the way out. And snowed the whole time. Went back the third day but the wind switched and blew the ice in after we had one mallard.

I think I'm going to buy me some cabelas supermag waders this week. They have them on sale now and they are the warmest waders I can find and have good reviews.

I've hunted down to 18-20. Breaking ice in the dark ain't fun.

You don't want real hot waders if your walking in . Or put them on when you get there .

I take a boat most of the time. My last waders were 5mm too. Just didn't have much boot insulation which the supermags do. I have some garage sale special waders that I wear when it's hot too.
