I'm the same way about the youngins if the hit the decoys it happens. They don't do it on purpose but I would rather them get some ducks then to not get any at all. My brother is the worst though. No matter what somehow he always manages to kill a decoy. It's kinda become a tradition now. He buys me a dozen every year though.

That's funny, when we hunt geese my buddy and I almost always shoot for the same bird. No matter how close of far he is from me.

All sir smew brought this morning was a 1/4 thick ice.saw 2'ducks all morning.

With temps in the 20's last night I gave the smew a day off and filled the freezer with a deer

Go ahead and get it bak on track. Next weekend is our shotgun deer season so I will not be waterfowling.

Well, knocked off some of the bad juju today. It warmed up just enough to thaw out our field yesterday and we were lucky enough to get a handful of ducks to work. Nothing to brag about but beats getting skunked. One hen mallard, one gadwall, and one spoonie. It won't let me upload the picture, says it's too big

Are you hunting it 2 weeks or are you sending it on to me a week early? What happened to Reb? I thought he was between you and Hudson.

I moved myself to the 27th of Dec and now the 10th of Jan will be open. I will be out of town then shacked up in a mountain cabin with my new lady friend for my birthday.

that decoy was awesome, Sat great in the water. my buddy's Wanted one so bad. I would run you ducks anytime .
