So, someone would just have to set something up in their state if it's legal?

Online gambling would be illegal on WFF. However if we wanted to play for cash and donate all the winnings to a charity that would then be legal.

Sounds like we will just do it for fun then.

I like the idea and would be up for it, but we have some younger guys and 1 gal on here (still in school). So let's just keep it fun. Maybe the person(s) who wins the most hands gets a WFF sticker, my treat.

But you don't have to worry about me winning another one as I most likely will have one viable hand season long, probably full of gaddys and GWT. Possibly a spoony.

What I did for the season long bowfishing tournament because there would also be a lot of people that had no prayer of winning (like me, although I was middle of the pack and not near dead last like I would be here), was that any prizes (and we had good sponsors so that helps) was that the prizes were done by lottery with one chance per point.

Win a week, get points. Every unique straight flush gets you points and major bonus for a royal flush, 4 of a kind gets you so many points, every unique full house. We can even go hi-lo so the highest and lowest 5 bird hand for the season gets big points and maybe do it for the best and worst 5 hands of the season.

Of course this would still require me to shoot 5 ducks in a single day to even get on the board, which given that this season it looks like I will not shoot 5 ducks total, that could be a problem. A question, do 4 duck hands play or do you need 5 ducks to have a complete hand that counts?

This could be fun, but you have to include something that keeps those with little chance of winning interested and trying even late in the game and make sure that someone gets lucky early and it is not over so the interest remains for everybody for the duration.

4 is the max of any one "card" just like any deck of cards...

For some reason Tapashit won't let me upload. Really wish I would have had video of this hunt, far and away the craziest I've ever been on. Had flocks of 1,000+ mallards trying to land on our blinds.

We were in layouts on the edge of small creek in early December last year. Everything else was frozen and groups that had no hope of fitting in that stream were trying to pile in and ended up hovering right over our layouts, maybe 5 feet above us. It started a few minutes before LST, so we were able to lay there and take it in for sometime. I could literally feel their wing beats.

That's on the shore of the water. Just no cover there, and layout blind is a lot more comfortable.

We killed one out of our pit blind last year, smack dab in the middle of a cornfield. Granted, she was cruising about 70 yards high headed for the sandpit 1/4 mile behind us, but she died in a cornfield.

Looks like SWS won last weeks hand with 4 K and a Q kicker.

I'll post up a new deck for this week when I get inside from deer waiting.
