They aren't quiet. At low speeds they aren't bad, but when they are cranking they make some good noise. But so does the generator on the back.

You do have a point there. That's why I want to go with a pretty good size fan to hopefully overcome that.

I thought Sinclair was supposed to be the cream of the crop.

Not even close. They make some decent stuff but 21st Century, K&M, Whidden, and L.E. Wilson tools usually make a better tool than Sinclair can.

I find that hard to believe yet. A lot of things were changing there when I left 2 years ago. Changing a lot of laws to attract more business and growth since Detroit isn't a money maker anymore.

Because it was ranked number 1 state, by a website that ranks places to visit for a reason... it's pretty fantastic.

I'll clear this up with a handy map I've drawn on the good parts of MI.

A buddy and I are looking for a diver hunt this fall. Any recommendation of guides?

I guess this goes under future purchases

Seriously, if anybody knows of someone they can recommend within about 8 hours of Chicago, I would appreciate it.

Other than the major cities most of souther MI is pretty fucking awesome. Lot of places north of US10 that aren't much different than the UP. But I'll give it to you olly...the UP is the best part of MI. And I'm ashamed to say I haven't spent neer enough time there.

Not at all. That's why we are looking for a guide. Plus, I don't want to screw around on the big water, especially when it is cold.

Flyway Fowling Guide Service, this will be our third year in a row with him. He works hard to put you on ducks and if its slow the stove and heaters in his boat will keep you fat and happy. We've killed divers and puddlers every time we've been out with him, better check now though as he books up very fast.
