Angry time.
My wife gave me a sermon on how we can't continue using 2015 prices and set new higher prices.
Big fuss too. All proud of herself.
Last night our biggest customer called so the wife panicked and sold eight gallons at THE OLD PRICE.
For this one lady the price will NEVER change.
I'm so angry about it.
I should call her and say this is the end no more.
This particular Asian female is militant about bargaining.
Used to run a restaurant you'd think she'd understand that prices go up.
My wife is terrified of telling this woman so I will.
If she don't like it she can buy her very own honeybees..

Ants found a drip and called their friends.
Diatomaceous earth (DE) is like walking on glass barefoot to an insect.
Odd method but it's effective.
Put a ring around what you want protected.
Resized_20220714_072508(1).jpeg
we can't use spray inside. Found an alternative.
My daughter had fleas in a wet basement.
She bought that box, used it, then gave it to me.
The stuff works.

The bottom box is no good its there to keep honey up off the floor and away from the DE.
OG should get his package today if i got the address right.

Yes. Retro box.
For a while I was on a seashell ammo diet.
If I saw it I bought it.

Irony...my wife don't feel safe unless there is ammo strewn thruout the house all randomly.

July when it's not blazing hot or raining is perfect time to go over the truck. 8-)
I will fill it in August and dump in a bottle of sea foam for the hell of it. Last fillup was in May or June.
The truck just sits there waiting except for go get hunny stuff. I use fuel stabilizer in the truck and boat both.

A white call?
Why?
I don't usually call honkers but the white call is very visible.
At MoDuck we were stealth hunting across a Grove of pin oaks. We crept from tree to tree.
Stopped and hung calls on one and forgot them.
Moved on. Eventually I noticed the calls are gone.
With binoculars it took about 3 seconds to spot this white goose call.

It's still way off but I think this thing will work on a battery with a 2000 watt inverter.
Waffles with butter n hunny.
Might have to try it.
Resized_20220715_095252.jpeg

Plug it into the generator and it will work.
Two years ago this kid pulled out an inverter, Mr coffee, and made us a pot of hot coffee in his boat.
Roughing it...lol

Fixing to build two generic wall panels out of 2x2.
Temporary rear wall for my covered trailer.
Would be cool to use the ramp as entry. Has a refrigerator already built in.
Might take the wife camping to Indiana.
Shades of Death State Park....hehe.
I'll have to shorten a storm door for it to work.

Always plenty of “guests” lurking. They are either bogus accounts or just don’t have anything to say unfortunately.

While cleaning the laundry/pantry this quart of Aunt Betty's vintage recipe was discovered on the top shelf with the spiked cherries.
Anybody want a sip?
It's "apple pie" probably bad.

The bottom bark was awesome.

I found the right video that explained "which way is up" on a pork butt.
On a pellet grill the heat is under the drip tray.
Malcom Reed says, "put the fatty side down".
I did that and oh boy Malcom is right imo.
If you like that burnt flavor like us put the fatty side DOWN.
I learned that yesterday..
Should have video'd pulling it apart.
My wife kept moaning
Malcom Reed videos are "meat porn" check one out.

$12.79 for a pork butt was a deal. Half-price at $1.50/pound.

Won't be long now.
The Romas get made into pasta sauce.
We bottle it by the gallons.
Resized_20220717_092253.jpeg

My grandkids eat it up. Around the end of August we will do a video on making the sauce.
It's delicious and romas are very reliable here.
