Funny but 12 ounces of honey is around one cup.
Them bottles are designed for honey.
Sold by weight not volume.

Every day he sits there staring at me at around this time.

It's very close to when they all turn red and we start putting them into jars for winter.

The round big ones get canned plain.
We use them in chili or any recipe that uses canned tomatoes. We tried doing chili with canned maters.
They were not ripe and had been dyed red.
You trust the cannery when they pull stunts like that on you?

Here the squirrels will go around tasting them until they're ripe. Then they start running off with them and that's why I bought the Gamo pellet gun.
They will pay with their lives and I get squirrel and quail in the crock pot.
Been waiting and plotting on them tree rats. Its gloomy again.
Supposed to rain. That is good. Prolong the honey flow.
I'm real close to doing a second pull on honey.
It will be different but still very light colored.
White clover honey. I can't wait. It's been years since I had a clover crop.

Leaky faucet is fixed.
Now I'm checking out my batteries and chargers.
Waiting until I need them isn't a good idea.

That video is a pretty much empty campground on a nice weekend. This fall is going to be a shock to the system when only 1/4 of us actually buy licenses and go.
That is IF THEY LET US.
You MIGHT want to research into the new travel restrictions in Europe.
It got hot in Britain for a couple days so we need to quit duck hunting.

Internet shit:
When I first joined DHC I was extremely disappointed in what it was.
I expected: a website full of expert waterfowlers that were eager to help newbies. I expected it to be more like an Encyclopedia of duck.
Imagine my disgust when I discovered the cliques and guys chatting like they're friends in a duck blind.
It took time but I slowly realized that those guys and their little cliques was just natural. Learned to enjoy it.

At first I thought I'd somehow achieve mod status and reform the site into what I'd imagined it should be.
Thats retarded but yeah ....I plotted on doing just that.
Jimmy and plainsman are "Me" ....lol
I used to do the exact same shit.
Grow up you two.

What's cooking got me thinking ahead on what to cook when spinnerman shows up.
I'm thinking sausage links and eggs with some bread toasted on the buddy heater. Maybe some cheese and sunny D.

Randomly looked out to see if it's raining.
Saw two small birds land in the yard.
Looked closer and they're not birds.

The pelican:
Once I got invited on a big goose hunt. We hunted the Illinois River where I'd dare not go.
The rules on that river are extremely complex and you're never quite certain that you're in compliance.
A game warden pretty much said "it's ok here".
We set up.
A lonely bird on my end comes along.
Guide says "shoot it if you can".
Me:"it's a pelican ...shoot it?".

Would anyone care to participate in a UPS STING?
I am proposing shipping something valuable but mark it "gun parts" so that they destroy it .
Lawsuit much?
This one would be way too ez.

This tent is Betty modified.
Has a screen roof. It's not 4 seasons.

It got cold so I got the weird super sticky waterproof tape and fitted garbage bags to cover the vented roof. Now its 4 seasons.
That rear hole is for an ac unit.
Has led lighting built in. Just put in batteries.
It's not that bad for a guy and a dog to sleep in.

If I knew what I know now I probably would have noticed how he sort of drags his rear end around on the return trip.
That poor old dog did a lot of work that maybe he shouldn't have.

I really thought I could keep this under my hat until november..
Steve A invited the entire world to his piece of Alabama dirt. Privately he disinvited me and I never even asked why.
I was mad as hell and a little hurt. Plainsman and Jimmy popped out of the woods at a perfect time to completely unhinged me so I abandoned a website. That's muh story an I'm stickng with it.
If one of you is dumb enough to go there and confront Steve...knock yourself out. This is way too much drama for a website.
It's both annoying and weird as well.
Ha!

Millet's pigmentary keratosis has faded. It comes n goes I guess. Been watching his eyes and the brown spots in the white are going away. At first one eye had a spot. It grew.
Then his other eye got one. Now both are getting smaller.
He seems to see perfectly so I'm just going to keep watching his eyes. Fasteel72 told me I was makin him blind by feeding him fish.
Internet bs.
The Labrador retriever originally lived on fishing boats.
Guess what they ate

This is custom.
About 5 years ago Gary had a big impact on me.
He sent a video called Hallowell Hideout.
It's filmed at Bayou Meto. YT deleted it. :?
He said watch it 100 times.
I thought it was a calling lesson.
Nope.
At the end this guy walks around asking the group, "are you Christians?".
He don't want no heathen infidels stinking up his woods.
This call is part of that journey.
